CFB National Championship: Alabama vs Clemson (Pick/Predictions)

After another exciting season of college football, we get another exciting matchup between Alabama and Clemson, who played last season in a 45-40 thriller which the Tide won.  This game should be another good one for the fans.  Here are my pick/predictions.

#1 Alabama (14-0) vs #2 Clemson (13-1) (8:15 PM ET, on ESPN, in Tampa, Florida)

Line is set at: #1 Alabama (-7)

My pick: Alabama defeats Clemson 27-20

What to watch for: Turnovers.  Both of these teams have had their difficulties over this season with turning the ball over.  However, Alabama's defense has feasted on forcing turnovers and returning them back for touchdowns more than Clemson's had throughout the season, and I feel like if Bama can put enough pressure on Deshaun Watson, which they have the abilty to do, then it could be a game-changer, especially in tight games like these.

My thoughts on this game: This game has all the story lines, and excitement, especially since these two met last season in the championship game.  I believe both teams will come out ready for the game, but I see Bama and their stout defense coming up big with the win in the end, in a game I see being close like last season but lower scoring.
